The Waters of Moorea

Water is what beckons us on this beautiful island.  The lagoon is calm and inviting.  The water like bathwater.  The beach is white sand and there are mounds of coral doting the lagoon.  There has not been a day when we have not dipped into the ocean, if only for a few minutes.  Some days are spent lazing in the water, others being more adventurous and kayaking to nearby islets and snorkeling among corral. Colourful fish dart among our feet, graceful stingrays frequently glide by and sea birds swoop overhead.  The water is the balm to flaring tempers or crabby dispositions, aggravated by close quarters, heat, humidity and the disequilibrium of being away from home.

Hanging out in the water as the sun goes down.
Kinda like hippos in their wallow...

Wandering around the intercontinental hotel ... this is the view.

For real photo.

Lots of snorkeling
